NAVIGATE presents Navigating Your Path to College: A Guide for Minnesota Undocumented Students in Search of Higher Education
NAVIGATE has for the first time in MN written and now published a guide for MN undocumented students. In this guide, undocumented students and allies share their experience about getting to college. The advice within this timely guide is student-created and Minnesota-focused. When NAVIGATE was started, we met with many counselors in Minneapolis and St. Paul. We realized that many undocumented students (often times Latina/o students) were getting incorrect information. Their counselors did not have accurate information about how to advice students who were undocumented. We decided that NAVIGATE needed to provide MN-focused and accurate information for MN's undocumented students. Students from all over the state adviced this creative guide. This guide puts a lot of our experiences into writing. Students will hear voices of other students. Please download the guide via our website: http://www.navigatemn.org/ NAVIGATE is a student-led organization. I want to thank the students and the Minneapolis Foundation for making this possible. By downloading the guide and sharing information about you, you will help us make NAVIGATE stronger as we continue to grow and expand. Your support is greatly appreciated.
