You're Invited: GenYWCA Fitness Social Kick-Off Event!
I was so honored to attend my dear friend's wedding this past weekend, which was a beautiful blend of civil, cultural, and religious ceremonies. Another part of who she is, however, is a clear personal and professional advocate for the mission of the YWCA - eliminating racism and empowering girls! True to form, she had thought-provoking and conversation-inducing question cards at the dinner tables, encouraging her community of friends and family to connect at this celebratory event. As an additional wedding gift to her, I'd like to pass on the good news that the YWCA of Minneapolis is now kicking off an initiative to engage emerging leaders in their mission and work. And if you couldn't be there for the wedding, well, at least you know you're invited to the after-party. Check out details below for a fun night of physical activity and community engagement!
