I am happy to announce the next non-profit Young Professional Group conversation will be on Friday, February 10 at Open Arms Minnesota – I hope many of you will be able to join us!
What: YPGs: Focus on something that was great about 2011 and plans/events for 2012
When: Friday, February 10
Time: 11:45 – 1 p.m.
Where: Open Arms of Minnesota
2500 Bloomington Ave S, Minneapolis
We plan to focus this conversation time on talking about one thing that was really successful for your group in 2011 and possible events for 2012. I’d also love to discuss ideas around some potential collaborative partnerships if everyone else is interested in that also. If you have questions that you’d like to have addressed during this conversation, please let me know.
The event is free and please bring your lunch if you’d like. No advertising budget for this group so your help in spreading the word to colleagues and other network connections is much appreciated. The more of us who are there to share ideas, the better the discussion!
Please register at http://ypgdiscuss.eventbrite.com/ so we know how many people to set up for and expect.

You're Invited: Young Professional Group Conversation
These informal brown bag lunches, coordinated by Jenny Johnson of Aeon, have grown to be a helpful forum for discussing nonprofit young professionals group best practices and for connecting across organizations and interest areas. If you've got some successes from 2011 to celebrate and some plans in the works for 2012, drop on in to see what might spring up in advice-sharing or new collaborations for the year ahead. Social hour kicks off at 11:45am, followed by discussion at 12 noon, and you're invited to bring your lunch. Register online to save your seat now!
