"To Legislate or To Delegate?" An improvised comedy conversation with the Star Tribune's Lori Sturdevant
Tuesday, July 17, 2012
7:00pm - 9:30pm
Join the League of Women Voters Mpls and the Theater of Public Policy as we host Lori Sturdevant of the Star Tribune for an evening of comedy and policy as we laugh (and cry) about constitutional amendments and their implications. It’s a serious conversation followed by seriously funny improv inspired by Ms. Sturdevant’s thoughts and opinions.
What do you know about constitutional amendments? When should they be used by legislators to get things done in St. Paul? Come enjoy the 80-minute improv performance and voice (or form) your opinion. And learn a little something, too. $12 in advance. $15 at the door. Get your tickets via the HUGE Theater website by clicking the following link and scrolling to the July 17 event: http:// Cash-bar cocktail hour to follow performance. Proceeds of ticket sales go to LWV Mpls and Theater of Public Policy to support their missions of advancing the dialogue. |
