April Speaker Highlight
Anna Kerr, Stormwater-TMDL Coordinator, MPCA
Anna has worked for the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency for the past eight years. In her current role she provides regulatory and technical assistance to municipalities on stormwater management geared at achieving the goals of the Clean Water Act. She is also involved in the development and review of Total Maximum Daily Load studies which provide a framework of the actions needed to protect and restore Minnesota's lakes, rivers and streams through the implementation of best management practices.
Anna earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science as well as an Associate of Science in Chemical Technology from Lake Superior State University, located in Michigan. Prior to working for the MPCA, Anna worked on emergency response planning, specifically with tribal communities in Minnesota; she also worked as an environmental field chemist focusing on hazardous waste clean-up and disposal.
