Red Wing Ignite (RWI), a nonprofit business accelerator located in Red Wing, Minnesota, is hosting Red Hot Hack, April 25-27, 2014, in beautiful Red Wing, Minnesota. The organization is looking for “civic minded geeks and geeky wannabes in pursuit of using technology to help address community issues and ignite innovation to advance the way we live, learn and work.”
RWI is aligned with US Ignite, an initiative organized by the National Science Foundation and the White House Office of Science and Technology, to promote and accelerate the development of next generation applications. Their efforts focus on six primary areas: education and workplace development, advanced manufacturing, health, transportation, public safety, and clean energy.
