In this vein, we're sponsoring up to three attendees (a $90 value!) to attend the upcoming Bdote Field Trips on May 30 and August 23 where you'll spend the day visiting local sites of significance to Dakota people and learning about them from a Dakota perspective. [Read more.] Shape Your Story: Woman to Woman Mentorship Event Minneapolis Global Shapers Join Minneapolis Hub of Global Shapers on April 11 to celebrate women's leadership in the Twin Cities. The Minneapolis Global Shapers, in partnership with the MN Cup, sponsored by the Bush Foundation, will include a varity of workshops for emerging leaders and opportunities to connect and learn from the established women leaders in the Twin Cities. The day will include networking and community building with other emerging leaders, followed by lunch and mentorship circles facilitated by leading women in a variety of sectors, and will conclude with a networking reception. [Read more.] IDEA GENERATION #mnrising Minnesota Rising invites you to be a part of the IDEA GENERATION on Wednesday, April 29! What is an IDEA GENERATION event? It's a chance for you to get to know other young thinkers and doers and pitch and develop an idea or project, be a resource to one another, and help push forward intriguing thoughts and good work. It's a chance to get inspired and be someone else's inspiration while learning more about the interests, passions, and values that drive us. So bring your thoughts, blueprints, or projects and join us to meet some great people while working together to build Minnesota's future! [Read more.] Emerging Leaders Program Kick-Off Events Initiative Foundation Helping leaders across generations, cultures and communities is the primary goal of Emerging Leaders, a new community development program being launched in April by the Initiative Foundation. Learn more about the program, network and apply to participate in this career- and community-building initiative. Register for one of two upcoming program kick-off events: April 17th from 11am - 1pm at Prairie Bay in Brainerd or April 23rd from 4pm - 6pm at the St. George Municipal Complex in St. Cloud. Successful applicants will meet monthly to refine and shine their community and cultural leadership skills.
