You're Invited: Improving Philanthropic Giving in Millennials

Having recently concluded a graduate school research project on Millennials and Development, Maja Numainville will be sharing her findings at St. Catherine University this weekend. Her work surveying a nationwide sample of Millennials and interviewing nonprofit development professionals in the Twin Cities about their approaches to engaging Millennials has yielded fresh insights and thought-provoking key findings. The presentation is free and open to the public and will include a question and answer time at the end.

Description: As Millennials move into adulthood and can donate to the greater good, development professionals need to connect with this new generation. How can these donors partner with nonprofits to make a better world? This research describes about Millennials' attitudes, preferences and expectations regarding donating in order to discover strategies that help development professionals increase giving among Millennials.
