What is an IDEA GENERATION event? It's a chance for you to get to know other young thinkers and doers to pitch and develop an idea or project, be a resource to one another, and help push forward intriguing thoughts and good work. It’s a chance to get inspired and be someone else’s inspiration while learning more about the interests, passions, and values that drive us. Why an IDEA GENERATION event? Because Minnesota Rising wants to build relationships, spark new ideas, and workshop others in a focused format. Because Minnesota Rising is excited to hear about the great things rattling around your noggin that could benefit from an outside perspective, a little encouragement, or that one thing that would really get your dream flying. How does an IDEA GENERATION event work? After some open networking, event participants will hear Spark Stories from a few speakers about their experience of being in the midst of forming an idea or putting it into action in order to set the stage for attendees who will do the same that night. Everyone will then begin a ProAction Café – a process that enables people to bring forward ideas, projects, and passions and in return receive questions, insights, and help from others. The process includes guiding questions that will direct the conversation and naturally introduce participants to one another. The event will also include a resource-share and an opportunity to network further. So bring your thoughts, blueprints, or projects and join us to meet some great people while working together to build Minnesota’s future!
