Local Foods Potluck & Party
Hosted by Homegrown South, a new healthy food initiative of The Open Door focused on positively impacting the local food system.

Get involved with this new network of producers and consumers interested in supporting a healthy, sustainable local food system in the suburban and rural communities that surround the Twin Cities to the south. We call ourselves Homegrown South!
We'll provide local burgers & brats, sweet corn, beverages and utensils. Please bring a local food-inspired dish to share.
Activities include: -Live traditional Mexican music -Balloon animals & Magic Show -Lawn Games -Food forum- opportunities to network and converse with other producers, consumers, financers, organizations and advocates passionate about a robust local food system in the South Metro.
Break out your Jell-o mold and join us for a good ole fashioned picnic! Hope to see you there!
