[#mnrising Dispatch] August 2015
Our blog may have been on summer vacation this month, but rest assured Minnesota Rising was road tripping and field tripping all August long! Our Greater Minnesota Rising project team hosted focus groups to explore attracting, retaining, and engaging emerging leaders in Saint Paul, Alexandria, Nisswa, and Brainerd; we continued working with the Make It. MSP. Makers on efforts to improve social inclusion in GREATER MSP, and a crew of #mnrising leaders participated in the Bdote Field Trip to learn more about Dakota history in order to more meaningfully, conscientiously, and respectfully work to impact Minnesota's future. Join us at our upcoming Sounding Board Session at the picnic tables near Sandcastle at Lake Nokomis on September 14th to soak up more of the great outdoors and help us prepare to transition into the next season of learning and growth for the #mnrising network!
