[#mnrising Dispatch] March 2016
Spring is the season of re-birth and we're excited to share about some of the new content we've been working to bring into the world with Minnesota Rising and our LOCUS initiative focused on Identity-Driven Leadership. We'll debut this new content atbushCONNECT 2016 as part of the new Day 2 Workshops on May 10. At a time when our communities are hungering for context, compassion, validation, and cross-cultural understanding, we hope to hold space for personal and public engagement with topics of power, privilege, and oppression and to create opportunities for building trust and relationships. Read on for the session descriptions below to learn more!Join LOCUS and Minnesota Rising for interactive companion workshops to explore the topic of identity-driven leadership. The concurrent workshops will include intentional intersections between the companion tracks to allow for shared experiences exploring race, identity, and leadership.
