2020 Atlantic Council Millennium Fellowship
The Atlantic Council is now accepting applications until March 15 for the 2020 class of its Millennium Fellowship. The fellowship is open to young leaders (ages 25-35) from every country and all sectors. The fellowship is a two-year, part-time program requiring three weeks of in-person activities supplemented with virtual convenings and distance learning, executive coaching, and optional events that take place around the world and throughout the year. The Atlantic Council covers all expenses for these activities. Fellows join a global network of exceptional peers, have unparalleled opportunities to meet world leaders, go behind the headlines to explore global challenges up-close, and lead the debate on issues that will shape the 21st century. Are you (or is someone you know) a young leader who wants to amplify their involvement in the Greater MSP community? The Minneapolis Global Shapers are looking for new members! Born out of the World Economic Forum, the Global Shapers Community is a network of young people working together to address local, regional and global challenges. With more than 8,500 members, the Global Shapers Community spans 400 city-based hubs in over 150 countries, and believes in a world where young people are central to solution building, policy-making and lasting change. Apply by March 16: 2020 NEW Leadership Development Institute
NEW Leadership™ Northern Lights has held an annual NEW Leadership™ Development Institute since 2004. These intensive five-day residential institutes provide leadership training, inspiration and support for women in the upper Midwest. NEW Leadership Development Institute accepts applications from college and community women, age 18 and over, who reside in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. Each year approximately 40 community and college women are invited to participate. Each NEW Leadership™ cohort includes women from diverse ideological, socioeconomic, ethnic, racial and educational backgrounds. FeMNist Day 2020: Night Market, Showcase, Workshops
FeMNist Day is back and better than ever! In its third year, the event is headed east to St. Paul, with a showcase and workshops at The Coven's new St. Paul location and a night market at the Palace Theatre. Attendees will enjoy more workshops and mentor sessions, more vendors, and more ways to give back to womxn doing business in the Twin Cities. It's all going down Friday, March 6th and Saturday, March 7th.
