This past month we have celebrated Black History in the United States, even as we recognize that 28 days is not enough to begin to recognize the contributions of Black people to the culture, infrastructure, and progress of our nation. That Black history is American history, and that it is not just history, but our present and future. And in 2021, that the only way forward is through, together.

This past month also marked the Lunar New Year with the arrival of the Year of the Metal Ox. The Chinese Zodiac indicates 2021 will be a year where work will be rewarded, for bringing order to family life, and when problems will be solved with a lot of discipline. Wishing you and yours good health, joy, and prosperity at the start of this new year!

COVID-19 Vaccine Connector

The Minnesota COVID-19 Vaccine Connector is a tool that helps Minnesotans find out when, where, and how to get a COVID-19 vaccine. This tool is for all Minnesotans who have not yet been vaccinated. Whether you are eligible for a vaccine now or later – the Vaccine Connector will notify you when you it’s your turn for a shot; connect you to resources to schedule a vaccine appointment; and notify you if there are vaccine opportunities in your area. WoMN ACT is advancing gender equity & social justice through advocacy & collaboration. They're excited to announce the launch of their new store online with proceeds benefiting their nonprofit advocacy work and legislative platforms. FeMNist Days 2021

Organized by Still Kickin, Power of 100, MN Cup, and The Coven, FeMNist Days 2021 will take place March 8th - March 25th to support the advancement of women*. This year, all opportunities to connect, learn, grow and move forward — will be done virtually. So you can join from wherever you are! MOVEE Application 2021

CAAL's Making Our Voices Effective for Equity (MOVEE) is a leadership program aimed at supporting, developing, and sustaining Asian Minnesotan social justice movement leaders. MOVEE offers leaders intentional space for deep self reflection, growing each leaders' roots, and strengthening the leaders' social network so that they can sustain themselves as they work for justice, equity and prosperity.
